POUNCE Cat Rescue and Sanctuary needs your help to continue to care for the homeless cats and the long term residents of our sanctuary. We need funds to cover food, veterinary visits, spay/neuter, vaccines, litter, medicine,  traps, heating pads, maternaty cages, cage hammocks, treats, cleaning supplies and building maintenance.

It takes a lot of supplies to rescue cats and kittens that come to us sick and injured and not yet spayed or neutered. The female cats come in with kittens they can barely feed because they are starving themselves. Often they are all sick and flea infested. They need help desperately! We give them food, shelter, treatment for worms, fleas, medicine for infections, vaccines and more. They are frightened at first, but soon relax knowing they are safe. Soon they are part of the family and happy kitties! They are on their way toward adoption. 

It can be months before they are rehabilitated enough to go to their forever home. They must be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLv. They have to be socialized to humans and trusting enough to show at Petco of Oroville.
